CARNIVAL NIGHTS
Your child(ren) are required to be at the arena at 6:00pm on both nights of Carnival (Friday, April 3, 2009 and Saturday, April 4, 2009). Parents who are not convening that evening will NOT be allowed backstage. Only the following food/drink items are permitted in the change rooms with the skaters-water, rice cakes, dry crackers, granola bars, pretzels. Please do not send any other items with your child(ren) as we do not allow other foods for the safety of the skaters and to ensure that all costumes remain clean throughout Carnival weekend. The foods listed above are also the only food allowed in the change rooms on dress rehearsal day. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WE HAVE SKATERS WITH SEVERE AIRBOURE NUT ALLERGIES.FOOD CONTAINING NUTS ARE NOT TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE ARENA. Please send a change of clothes with your child(ren) on the Saturday night of Carnival as costumes will be collected before the skaters go home.
Skaters in the first half of the show only, may go home at intermission. They will only be allowed to join you in the stands if a ticket is purchased for them. They are also welcome to stay with their group and enjoy the show from the far side of the arena. Skaters being picked up at intermission must be picked up in the curtained entrance inside the rink. At the end of the show, skaters can be picked up at both the curtained entrance to back stage and the hallway by the washrooms. Please be patient when waiting for your skater. We have two members of the Board of Directors who will bring each child to their parent or guardian. We try to make this process as quick as possible but we do this to ensure the safety of all of the children!!

TIGHTS
If your child(ren) require tights for Carnival please speak with a committee member. Not all numbers require tights as part of the costume but they do help to keep the skaters warm. Tights can be ordered in the committee room.
TICKETS
Carnival tickets are now on sale in the committee room and will be available every Saturday until Dress Rehearsal. Tickets are also available at the door both nights of Carnival. We have rented additional seating for Carnival as the changes made to the arena over the summer has cut down on the seating available. Due to the additional cost for the seating we have had to increase ticket prices for the show this year. Tickets are $10.00 for adults (includes program) and $7.00 for children 12 & under. We have purchased as much seating as we could fit into the available space but we cannot guarantee seating, it is available on a first come basis.
COSTUMES
Please have your child(ren) try on their costumes with their skates when they are sent home. We need to know about any issues regarding sizes before dress rehearsal. We can not fit costume issues on dress rehearsal day.
If you have any questions regarding Carnival, please speak with a committee member
